Frank currently serves as Acting Chief Mate of the JOHN W. BROWN. He is a veteran of both the merchant marine and the U.S. Navy. He later worked for Fairchild Industries. Frank is the navigation officer and the watch officer for the 12 to 4 watch. A strong advocate for the operating crew, Frank is highly regarded for his concern for crew welfare and is a respected leader in the Deck Department. The Board of Directors elected him President of Project Liberty Ship in 2008.
