  • June 6, 1944 to September 6, 1944 - Sailed as 2nd. Cook on S.S. WILLIAM PEPPER. Utah Beach, Normandy France.
  • October 9, 1944 to January 2, 1945 - Sailed as Chief Cook on S.S. HENRY JOCELYN. Marseille, France.
  • February 1, 1945 to March 15, 1945 - S.S. William Paca, Steward. Antwerp, Belgium.
  • Sepember 1, 1945 to April 11, 1946 - S.S. WAYCROSS VICTORY. Six voyages. Served as Chief Army Cook, Chef, and Chief Steward. Returning German POWs to France and bringing US soldiers home.
  • April 20, 1946 to August 23, 1946 - GOLDEN FLEECE, Chief Steward. Carried cargo and 19 passengers to and from Capetown, Port Elizabeth, East London, and Durban, South Africa and Tamative, Madagascar.
  • December 29, 1946 to February 1, 1947 - S.S. WILLIAM WAGGETT, Chief Steward.
  • March 25, 1947 to January 28, 1954 - S.S. EDITH, Chief Steward. (Discharges and a Continuous service document showing dates of service). Bulk Carrier coastwise and one foreign trip to Genoa, Italy and Huelva, Spain.
