John has a degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and works as a power systems design engineer for Tyco Electronics. The son of active Project Liberty Ship volunteers Lou and Diane Jerbi, John has been a member of the Project since 1997, working in the Deck Department and performing a variety of tasks supporting the Living History Cruises. He has been Safety Officer since 2003 and a member of the Board of Directors since 2004.
