• 1945 Graduated from Baltimore City College, with John Giesey.
  
• June 25, 1945 - Entered USMSTS at Sheepshead Bay as Ordinary Seaman. Graduated as Steward's Mate Second Class, August 7, 1945.
  
• Aug-Sept 1945 - Was in Marine Hospital on Ellis Island and saw back of Statue of Liberty every day.
  
• September 1945 - May 1946 Sailed on the S.S. F. MARION CRAWFORD, S.S. GRENVILLE M. DODGE, and S.S. CHILTON SEAM, all Liberties.
  
• May 1946 - Oct 1947 U.S. Army Artillery Mechanic.
  
• Post-War Graduated Johns Hopkins on full Westinghouse Scholarship as Electrical Engineer.
  
• 1988 Joined Project Liberty Ship. Met with John Giesey of Baltimore City College again for first time in 43 years.
  
• January 1999 Retired from US government as Senior Electronic Engineer.
