Norma Murrell Brown of Salisbury, Maryland, an early volunteer with Project Liberty Ship along with her late husband, Ralph E. Brown, died October 29, 2010, at the age of 83.

She and Ralph, who died in 2006, were life members of Project Liberty Ship, joining in 1990 after reading about the ship. They also volunteered with the American Red Cross.

Norma is survived by two daughters, Jane Ellen Brown and Connie Brown Fries, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
